Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry assignment on a pulmonary unit, requiring a GA or compact license and a minimum of 18 months of relevant experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is based on a pulmonary unit within a hospital setting
  • Assignment duration is 13 weeks with 12-hour night shifts
  • The patient population consists primarily of pulmonary and telemetry cases
  • No on-call responsibilities required
  • Former perm staff must be separated from the health system for at least one year before returning, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
  • Maximum of five days of requested time off (RTO), reduced to three if any RTO falls on or near a holiday
  • Only one holiday request is permitted during the assignment
  • Requests for several RTO days during a holiday period will not be approved

  • Active GA or compact RN license must be in hand at time of consideration
  • Minimum of 18 months of RN experience required
  • Experience on telemetry and pulmonary units preferred
  • Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
