About the Role

We are seeking an IT Automation Specialist with 1–3 years of IT support or service desk experience who will learn and fully understand the service desk coordination and dispatch processes and lead efforts in modernizing operations through automation. This role is a key contributor to KJ Technology's automation initiatives, partnering with service desk engineers, tracking workflows, and ensuring automation solutions align with operational needs and client expectations.

The successful candidate will spearhead the development and deployment of low-code / no-code automations, aiming to reduce manual service coordination by 65% within 18 months, transforming service delivery and driving operational efficiency.

Position Responsibilities

  • Learn the service desk coordination processes, including ticket triage, SLA monitoring, engineer scheduling, and escalation workflows.
  • Collaborate with the owner of KJ's IT Service Catalog to identify automation opportunities that reduce manual effort and improve service quality.
  • Build, test, and deploy automated workflows using low-code / no-code platforms such as Rewst.
  • Work with engineers to identify repetitive tasks and design scalable automation solutions.
  • Document automation processes and procedures for knowledge sharing and future scalability.
  • Monitor automated workflows to ensure proper functioning and performance.
  • Gain hands-on knowledge of the service desk dispatch process to inform automation solutions.
  • Partner with service desk engineers to understand operational workflows and identify pain points suitable for automation.
  • Provide light technical support for automation-related issues, escalating as needed to senior engineers.
  • Analyze service data to prioritize automation opportunities and track automation impact.

Required Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or service desk operations.
  • 1–4 years of hands-on experience building automations using low-code / no-code platforms (e.g., Rewst, Zapier, Microsoft Power Automate).
  • Hands-on experience using Rewst is required.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Willingness and ability to learn the service desk coordination process thoroughly.
