About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Must-Have : Must have current experience in Labor and Delivery

Description :

The Registered Nurse will provide care in the Labor and Delivery specialty.

The nurse will assist with high-risk deliveries and provide support during vaginal and cesarean deliveries.

Responsibilities include administering medications, conducting assessments, and providing discharge teaching to parents.

The nurse will maintain accurate documentation using a charting system.

A patient-nurse ratio of 1 : 2 in the Labor and Delivery unit is required.

The nurse may float to the Mother / Baby unit based on staffing needs.

Weekend shifts will be assigned every other weekend.

On-call hours of 36 hours every six weeks are required.

Candidates must be prepared to work during designated holidays.

The role demands strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively on a team.

This position requires knowledge of various clinical procedures and equipment used in Labor and Delivery.

Travel experience is preferred but not mandatory.

The candidate must be able to respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
