  • Duration : 13-week contract\n
  • Shift : 12-hour night shifts (18 : 30 – 06 : 30)\n
  • Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week\n
  • Weekend Requirements : Two full weekends in a six-week period\n
  • On-call Requirements : Three weekend shifts in a six-week period\n
  • Estimated Weekly Pay : $2310 - $2470\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Colorado RN license or NLC compact state license (required)\n
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred\n
  • American Heart Association BLS certification (required)\n
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (required)\n
  • Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) or AWHONN certification (required)\n
  • At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience preferred\n
  • Ability to float to other healthcare units or facilities within 60 miles as needed\n

  • Assess physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs of OB patients through observation, interview, and clinical data review\n
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans with the interdisciplinary healthcare team\n
  • Demonstrate clinical competency in IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection\n
  • Promote patient health, safety, and rights in the labor and delivery setting\n
  • Provide patient and family education, assessing learning readiness and evaluating outcomes\n
  • Deliver compassionate, relationship-based nursing care that respects patient preferences and values\n
  • Delegate appropriately to non-RN healthcare personnel according to policy and regulations\n
  • Serve as a professional role model and mentor for new staff and nursing students\n
  • Participate in quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and ongoing professional development\n
  • Maintain accurate professional records and demonstrate commitment to lifelong learning\n
