Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring a MA RN license, BSN, and strong Cath Lab procedural skills.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in a hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab
  • Day shift schedule : 10-hour shifts from 7 : 00am to 5 : 30pm
  • Weekend rotation and on-call during both weekdays and weekends are required
  • Care for cardiac patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Clinical duties may include working with Rotablator, IVUS, FFR, hemodynamics, IABP, and Impella equipment
  • Proficiency with EPIC EMR is required
  • Will work across all functional roles within the Cath Lab as needed, including sedation, monitoring, circulation, and scrubbing
  • Required to pass Tele / ECG and medication tests, where applicable
  • COVID vaccine and booster as well as flu vaccine are required; medical exemptions are accepted
  • Scrub attire is required for this role
  • Holiday coverage may be expected during assignment

    • \n \n Requirements\n

  • Active MA RN license in hand is required
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from AHA required
  • Recent cardiac cath lab experience required, with 3-5 years preferred
  • Must be proficient in diagnostic caths and interventions
  • Experience with Rotablator, IVUS, FFR, hemodynamics, IABP, and Impella required
  • EP Lab experience preferred but not required
  • ECMO and RCIS certification preferred
  • Experience in sedation, monitor, circulator, and scrub roles in Cath / EP labs highly preferred
  • Foundational ICU or ED experience is preferred
  • Experience with EPIC EMR is required
  • Applicants must live more than 50 miles from the facility; no locals allowed
  • A minimum 6-month separation is required for previous employees (travel, perm, per diem)
