Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Cardio Sonographer for day shifts in the EKG / Cardiology department with at least 1 year of recent specialty experience and active licensure if applicable.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in an EKG / Cardiology department setting
  • Day shifts are 12 hours from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM, five days per week
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Blocked scheduling may be allowed based on facility needs
  • Up to 5 days of requested time off is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
  • Local candidates within 50 miles may face pay adjustments and contract duration restrictions
  • After three consecutive 13-week contracts at the same facility within the local radius, a one-year separation or relocation is required
  • Assignment is subject to facility and department rules regarding scheduling and contract length

  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in EKG / Cardiology sonography
  • Active license required if applicable
  • No expiring certifications within the first 30 days of assignment unless renewal is documented
  • A valid U.S. Social Security Number is required; Canadian SINs are not accepted
  • No gaps in employment of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
