Overview

CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a CEI Bridge Project Engineer / Administrator to join our Infrastructure – Construction Inspection Team at a client site in West Palm Beach, FL

CHA provides a full complement of construction administration and inspection services to monitor, record and deliver successful projects. Our inspection team includes seasoned certified construction professionals cross-trained in design, risk management, and health and safety compliance to underscore our commitment to stringent standards. The CEI Bridge Project Engineer / Administrator is a senior level position that is responsible for overseeing construction inspection activities. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for the client on projects and coordinates all project related issues. The professional in this role will coordinate large construction projects, maintain all project documentation and records, as well as oversee construction inspection field staff. The CEI Bridge Project Engineer / Administrator will work with the project designer as necessary, chair all project related meetings, and review contractor pay quantities for accuracy.

Responsibilities

Note : Responsibilities are described within the overview and requirements sub-sections above, and include overseeing construction inspection activities, serving as the client's primary contact, coordinating project issues, maintaining project documentation, overseeing inspection staff, coordinating with the project designer, chairing meetings, and reviewing pay quantities for accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Minimum of 10 years of construction inspection experience is required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel is preferred
  • Able to work independently
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand and interpret client's contracts
  • Excellent knowledge of and reinforces the company's and client's standards
  • Demonstrates a thorough knowledge about the construction industry
  • Must be able to navigate through a construction site
  • PE preferred
  • CTQP Final Estimates II Certification preferred
  • CTQP – Concrete Field Inspector Certification preferred
  • ACI Concrete Inspection Certification preferred
  • Bridge Coating Inspector Certification I and II preferred (BCI / SSPC)

Salary

$52.88 - $62.50

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
