Coronado Unified School District is seeking an enthusiastic Instrumental Music Teacher to lead before-school music classes for elementary students in grades 2 through 5. The ideal candidate will inspire a love of music, develop students’ instrumental skills, and create a positive and encouraging learning environment.

Job Title : Hourly Elementary Instrumental Music Teacher

Organization : Coronado Unified School District

Location : Coronado, CA

Schedule : Monday – Thursday, 7 : 00 a.m. – 8 : 00 a.m.

Two days per week at Village Elementary School

Two days per week at Silver Strand Elementary School

Serving students in grades 2–5

Compensation : $60.00 / hour

Position Overview Coronado Unified School District is seeking an enthusiastic Instrumental Music Teacher to lead before-school music classes for elementary students in grades 2 through 5.

Responsibilities Teach foundational instrumental music skills to elementary students.

Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that foster musical growth.

Prepare students for group performances and showcase opportunities.

Build a welcoming, inclusive environment for young musicians.

Qualifications Experience teaching instrumental music to children (preferred).

Proficiency with one or more instruments; ability to teach multiple instruments is a plus.

Strong classroom management and communication skills.
