Job Overview :
A well-established national law firm is seeking a remote Litigation Attorney with at least 5 years of experience to join its Southern California litigation team. The role focuses on defending automotive manufacturers, distributors, and dealers in warranty-related litigation. This position is ideal for a seasoned litigator with strong trial preparation skills who is licensed to practice in California. While prior experience with warranty law is not required, strong courtroom skills and litigation experience are essential.
Location : Duties :
- Represent clients in warranty litigation involving consumer protection laws, including lemon law and breach of warranty claims
- Manage all phases of litigation, including trial and arbitration preparation, motion practice, depositions, mediations, discovery, and client communication
- Draft pleadings, motions, legal briefs, and client updates
- Collaborate with legal teams and clients to develop effective litigation strategies
- Attend court hearings and manage ongoing caseload remotely
Requirements :
Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigationExperience with trial and arbitration preparation and active courtroom participationStrong foundation in motion practice, depositions, and mediation techniquesAbility to work independently while collaborating with remote teamsEducation :
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school
Certifications :
Active and in good standing with the California State Bar (required)
