A licensed Primary Care Physician is sought for a healthcare organization in Staten Island, New York. The role requires maintaining accurate patient records, providing quality clinical diagnostic skills, and executing treatment plans while participating in medical staff programs. Candidates must be board certified / eligible in Family or Internal Medicine with a minimum of 3 years of experience.

A healthcare organization, with multiple sites around New York is looking to add a licensed Primary Care Physician to their growing team in Staten Island.

About the Opportunity :

• Schedule : Monday to Friday (one per Saturday per month)
• Hours : 8am to 6pm (one late night shift per week)
• Setting : Outpatient
• Patient Volume : 2 to 3 per hour

Responsibilities :

Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical histories, reports, and examination results

Provide quality clinical diagnostic skills in the delivery of patient care

Review all test results and recommend suitable management for the patient, including but not limited to, preventive health recommendations and habits

Prescribe medications and formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans

Collect and record patient information, such as medical histories, reports and examination results

Maintain complete and accurate medical records

Participate in medical staff educational programs and meetings

Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications :

M.D. / D.O.

Board Eligible / Certified in Family or Internal Medicine

DEA / BLS / ACLS

3+ years of related experience

Desired Skills :

Demonstrate competency in diagnosis and treatment to assure high standards of patient care and safety are maintained.
