RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details :

Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM

Choose between 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week

13-week assignment length

Weekend hours as required by facility

No call requirements

Float on a rotational basis

Patient ratios vary : Days 1 : 5-1 : 6, nights 1 : 6-1 : 7 (ratios not guaranteed)

Work on Medical 6B unit with 32 beds

Care for medical, medical telemetry, and respiratory patients

Work with telemetry equipment, lift equipment, IV pumps, and tube feeding pumps

Use EPIC EMR system

Required : Current RN license eligible for Missouri, BLS from AHA, NIHSS certification

Must have 1 year telemetry experience (inpatient only)

Experience and competence in drug titration required

Dress code : Black scrubs only

Night shift orientation occurs on day shift with full week availability required

Utilize nursing process for patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments

Maintain professional accountability and patient confidentiality

Physical requirements include standing / walking most of shift, bending, stooping, lifting up to 50 lbs
