Herbal Goodness is seeking a fractional Business Development Lead to spearhead product innovation and development. This role involves identifying new opportunities, working with vendors, designers, and partners, and building out a pipeline of innovative products that expand our portfolio and strengthen our brand.

We are looking for someone entrepreneurial, creative, and resourceful - able to spot opportunities, structure collaborations, and move ideas from concept to ready-for-market products.

Responsibilities :

  • Product Innovation :

Research and identify new product opportunities aligned with market trends and Herbal Goodness's mission.

  • Collaborate with designers, R&D, and industry partners to develop product concepts.
  • Support prototyping, packaging, and go-to-market planning.
  • Vendor & Partner Engagement :

    • Identify and onboard new vendors (ingredients, packaging, manufacturing).

  • Negotiate contracts, timelines, and costs with suppliers.
  • Build strong relationships with strategic partners to expand capabilities.
  • Project Management :

    • Manage timelines and deliverables for multiple product initiatives.

  • Track progress from ideation through development and prepare handoff to operations / marketing.
  • Ensure all new product development aligns with compliance, regulatory, and brand standards.

    • Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in business development, product development, or innovation within consumer goods, health & wellness, supplements, or food & beverage.
  • Strong network of vendors, manufacturers, and designers is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as a fractional / part-time leader.
  • Creative thinker who can balance big-picture vision with execution details.
