Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Oregon with floating to mother / baby and strong EPIC charting skills preferred.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit
  • Patient ratio is 1 : 3
  • Float to mother / baby and stable post-partum couplet care as needed
  • Orientation shifts provided for both primary and float departments
  • Uses EPIC EMR system; EPIC experience strongly preferred but not required
  • Day shift position (4x12 hour shifts), 7 : 00am to 7 : 30pm
  • 13-week assignment
  • Floats to mother / baby and provides post-partum couplet care as needed
  • Modules are completed during orientation and are required annually
  • Team support available; collaborative environment
  • Dress code and specific scrub requirements not specified
  • Holiday coverage and additional expectations will be communicated during orientation

  • Active OR RN license required
  • Minimum of 2 years Labor & Delivery RN experience required
  • Current BLS and NRP certifications required
  • PALS certification preferred
  • EPIC EMR experience strongly preferred
  • No first-time travelers accepted for this assignment
  • Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility
  • Pending OR RN licenses considered on a case-by-case basis
  • Maximum 7 days of requested time off allowed during the assignment
