The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with podiatrists and healthcare providers to provide comprehensive foot and ankle care, including assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and patient education, while performing in-office procedures and prescribing medications within their scope. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and a patient-centered approach to ensure high-quality care for patients with acute and chronic podiatric conditions.
Medical coverage on your 1st day of employment, all other benefits will be effective the 1st of the month following hire date!
Requirements :
40 hours per week - First Shift
Monday through Friday from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM
BLS / CPR Certification
Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license. Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Indiana.
Minimum 1-2 years of Nurse Practitioner experience preferred, prior experience in podiatry or related specialty strongly desired.
New graduates with relevant clinical rotations or strong interest in podiatry will be considered.
Ability to perform patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans within NP scope of practice.
Knowledge of foot and ankle anatomy, wound care, and common podiatric conditions preferred.
