Job Description We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as dedicated tax experts in one of our new locations across the United States. This unique opportunity combines tax expertise, community engagement, and entrepreneurship to help customers navigate their tax needs.

About the Role : You will work on-site from a location, serving customers both in-person and virtually using our tax preparation software.

Leverage your tax expertise to provide full service tax return preparation, tax advice, calculations, and software / product support.

Demonstrate understanding of each customer's unique situation, connect with them on a personal level, and alleviate stress when tackling taxes.

You will serve as the go-to expert for clients, handling simple to complex tax scenarios such as W2 filings, life events, and business income.

Key Responsibilities : Provide Tax Expertise - Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.

Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - Cultivate a robust customer base by actively engaging with new prospects, nurturing leads, and converting them into long-term clients through proactive outreach.

Educate and Communicate Confidently - Represent us in your local community, demystifying taxes to make them accessible and approachable.

Build Relationships - Connect with people, demonstrate understanding and sensitivity to their financial concerns, and build long-term trust.

Deliver a Best-in-Class Customer Experience - Create an exceptional customer experience, professionalism, and genuine interest in helping clients achieve their financial goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) required by law to file taxes.

Minimum 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.

Familiarity with Circular 230.

Willing and available to work a static weekly schedule with a minimum of 24 hours per week at a location.

Interest in building a local and online social presence as a tax associate.

Bilingual (English / Spanish) communication skills a plus.

Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
