Job Description

The Oxbow Hotel Eau Clair is hiring a part-time Building-Grounds Technician. This would be a 20 to 25-hour-per-week position. The Building and Grounds Technician will assist with the overall maintenance of the property.

Compensation : $20 - $24 hourly

Responsibilities :

  • Assist in maintaining the hotel building and grounds in top condition.
  • Maintain buildings by repairing, replacing, installing, and maintaining components of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and structural components of buildings, or coordinating work with others to ensure work is completed.
  • Plaster and paint.
  • Cleans rain gutters and downspouts.

    • Qualifications :

  • Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Previous maintenance experience.
  • Previous caulking (showers / bathroom) & grouting experience.
  • Plumbing Knowledge.
  • Previous knowledge of p-tac units (wall ac / heat).
  • Previous painting experience.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations is a plus.
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Minimum 1 year of similar experience required.
