Charles River CFO, Inc. Controller

Charles River CFO, Inc. (CRCFO) is seeking an experienced Controller for our client in Watertown, CT. This part-time position is 8-10 hours per week and requires you to be onsite one day a month. This position will need to start on December 1, 2025.

We are looking for a seasoned financial professional with 10+ years of experience as a Controller, within the manufacturing industry, who can provide strategic leadership and hands-on financial oversight to our client.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Cost accounting and controls
  • Implement processes to control costs and assess, and monitor the profitability of manufacturing operations
  • Implement processes to monitor, value, and account for inventory assets
  • Oversee daily accounting and ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Assess, manage, and apply process improvement to the monthly close process
  • Manage cash flow, debt, and collections to maintain liquidity and financial stability.
  • Create and monitor budgets and forecasts

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in senior finance or controller roles
  • Global Shop Solutions ERP experience
  • Controller level manufacturing cost accounting experience
