JOB RELATIONSHIPS
Responsible to : Operations Manager
DEFINITION OF POSITION
Responsible for the receiving, inspecting, distribution, and storage of all food and dietary supplies. Maintains inventory of all food and supplies according to the levels determined by the Food and Nutrition budget. Coordinates documentation of the preventative maintenance of equipment and insures the department’s cleaning and sanitation program. Responsible for implementing and overseeing quality control measures to guarantee the delivery of safe and nutritious meals to our patients, staff and guest.
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional
High school diploma or equivalent; additional culinary or food safety certifications are a plus.
Must have 3 years of significant kitchen and culinary experience preferably in a health care environment.
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and quality control processes effectively.
Must be able to analyze and solve dietary problems.
