  • Evaluates, devises, and analyzes nursing care for patients or residents in need of long-term and rehabilitation care.\n
  • Providing nursing services to patients and residents who require long-term or rehabilitative care.\n
  • Executes the care plan for patients / residents and gauges the patient / resident's response.\n
  • Guides and oversees the nursing team in administering patient care.\n
  • Contributes to the development and assessment of accepted norms for patient treatment.\n
  • Has the ability to understand and comprehend necessary documentation standards.\n
  • Possesses knowledge and expertise in maintaining, setting up, and using various medical equipment such as infusion devices, monitors, and drain devices.\n
  • Upholds the privacy and adheres to patient / resident rights, concerning any data pertaining to patients / residents / personnel.\n
  • Offers education to patients, residents, caregivers, and family members when necessary and / or instructed.\n
  • Demonstrates professional behavior and adheres to established unit and facility policies.\n
  • Adheres to a schedule that includes rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.\n\nThe educational requirement for becoming a Registered Nurse (RN) is a nursing degree from an accredited institution : \n
  • One of the essential requirements for becoming a registered nurse is having successfully completed an undergraduate nursing program.\n
  • Candidates must possess at least one year of experience in medical / surgical nursing within either a hospital or long-term care facility. A preference will be given to those with experience in acute or critical care.\n
  • A valid state (s) nursing license is required for this position.
