Full Time - Sr. Insurance and Risk Manager
BayMark Health Services is looking for an individual to handle theadministering of allcommercial insurance policies, be the point of contact for all insurance matters, and to develop / managerisk andsafety programs.
Responsibilities

- Managesworkers compensation, general and professional liability programs and allother commercial insurance policies.
- Responsiblefor obtaining information from various internal departments in order to provideinsurance brokers and carriers information needed for on-going program administration,renewals, claims and development and acquisition activity.
- Advisesemployees regarding insurance questions, and is the point of contact with insurancebrokers.
- Reviewslease agreements to ensure compliance with insurance requirements.
- Responsiblefor processing claim reporting and payment coordination for the insuranceprogram.
- Providessupport and assists in investigations surrounding claims, and litigation support.
- Coordinatesthe preparation of insurance renewals.
- ManagestheCommercial Drivers License Program and motor vehicle policiesin coordination with the HR Department.
- Conductsrisk assessments, collects and analyzes documentation, statistics, reports and markettrends, and identifies insurable risks and hazards to which the company, employees, andcitizens may become exposed.
- Advisesthe executive team on loss trends, claim frequency and severity, and potential risks,hazards and liability for the company and staff.
- Establishes policies and procedures to identify and address risks within the company.
- Recommendsand implements risk management solutions such as insurance, safety and securitypolicies, business continuity plans, or recovery measures.
- Responsiblefor the scheduling, coordination and preparation of safety trainings.
- Conducts quarterly insurance, risk and safety meetings with the executive team.
- Presents to the executive team short and long-range divisional priorities, goals and objectivesfor risk and insurance.
- Assist the executive team as needed with projects and other related tasks.
- Prepares and maintains a variety of correspondence, which may include but not limited to files,records and communication materials.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in business, finance, accounting, legal, insurance analytics, commerce, riskmanagement, or a related field.Experiencetraining teams on potential risks, strategic plans, and coverage requirements forvarious programs.Aminimum of five years experience in a multi-site healthcare organization insurance and riskmanagement program.Proficiencyusing Risk Management Information Systems (RMIS) or similar risk management orclaims tracking systems.Strongunderstanding of commercial insurance policies and administration as well as experienceworking with insurance brokers, carriers, and adjusters.Experiencewith legal reporting, legislative rulings and case law as it relates to claims andinsurance.Strongknowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint SharePoint, HER and Visio aswell as online / Internet-based research tools.Theutmost integrity in the discreet and confidential handling of confidential materials isnecessary.Strongsupervisory and management skills.Ability to function independently with limited direction.Excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of diplomacy and political awareness, and abilityto work effectively as a member of the legal department.Must possess strong analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, organizational, and projectmanagement skills.Exceptionaloral and written communication skills.Demonstrateability to meet deadlines.Must have the ability to multitask.Must be able to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.Satisfactory references from employers and / or professional peers.Satisfactory criminal background check.Satisfactory drug screenBenefits :
