Reports To : Beverage Manager

Supervises : Cage Inventory and Requisition System, Prepping / Batching and Event Bars / Set up and Breakdown

Job Description : The Bar Prep / Support Staff oversees the day-to-day operation of Oak Hill's Liquor Cage and Event Bar Setups. The Lead collaborates daily with beverage Manager to ensure service standards are achieved and that the quality is to Oak Hill standards. The Lead sets and maintains the standard as far as liquor cage maintenance, beverage batching, prepping and setting up and breaking down Club Events, creating memorable event bars for members and guests to enjoy.

Job Requirements :

  • Build and inspect event bars prior to each shift to ensure setup, cleanliness, organization, and maintenance are to Oak Hill
  • Pre-Set all Event Bars daily to the Oak Hill Standard.
  • Organizes orders that come in weekly.
  • Organizes the Cage.
  • Keeps a rotating stock of batched cocktails, juices and syrups in the cage for bar usage.
  • Performs administrative duties including Event Prep Task Lists, Monthly Cage inventory and Weekly ordering lists.
  • Communicates daily to Beverage Manager for all purchasing needs that come through the Requisition System.
  • Assists with the execution of Club events throughout the year including Holiday Picnics, Golf Tournaments, Summer Sizzler, Wine Dinners,
  • Maintains and cleans work environment of the cage as well as operating bars including portable bars.
  • Ensures that Employee Dining Room beverage offerings are stocked .
  • Stocks coolers for events. Works with the Leads Team to create Run of Shows for Events to ensure the most optimal task schedule for the week is executed.
  • Conducts daily pre-shift meetings that review upcoming events with Beverage Manager .
  • Typically, will work Monday Through Friday, may assist with Bartending when needed.
  • Physical Requirements :

  • Must be able to continuously sit, stand and walk a minimum of 8 hours.
  • Must be able to bend, kneel, push and pull over the course of a shift.
  • All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per Oak Hill's appearance standards.
  • Will be occasionally required to perform job functions outdoors and be exposed to sun, heat, humidity and other elements.
  • Must be able to work a flexible shift that includes early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, split shifts, and extended shifts.
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation to and from work.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English, both written and oral.
  • Must be able to periodically lift and carry up to 50 lbs. over the course of a shift.
