General Summary

Sunrock is a privately-held, family-owned construction materials supplier and contractor for almost 70 years, located in the Raleigh / Durham Metro area. We produce aggregates, recycled aggregates, asphalt, concrete, and offer grading and paving services. We value building strong relationships with customers, employees, vendors, and communities.

We have an exciting career development opportunity for individuals interested in growing in the construction materials industry. Our program, "Pathways," supports skill development and learning in various operational areas including Safety, Quality Control, Sales, and more. The program lasts approximately six to eight months, involving training alongside experienced trainers and working within departmental guidelines. Flexibility, good judgment, confidentiality, and a proactive attitude are essential.

Responsibilities include :

• Adhering to safety policies and reporting hazards
• Participating in training and completing assignments on schedule
• Applying manufacturing fundamentals and problem-solving skills
• Gaining exposure to various divisions to prepare for future roles

Additional duties involve teamwork, leadership, and performing tasks as assigned.

Qualifications :

Physical Demands and Working Conditions :

Heavy physical activity, outdoor weather exposure, and working at customer sites are involved. Noise levels are loud.
