SALARY : $995 per month (Includes some benefits)
HOURS : 20 hours per week
Monday, Wednesday,Friday 8 : 45-1 : 00 and every other weekend (Sat. 9 : 30-5 : 15, Sun 12 : 30-5 : 15)

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE : Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school and some clerical or public service experience Must complete pre-employment testing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Provides exceptional customer service to all agegroups while assisting patrons with questions in person, over the phone, orelectronicallyAssists in programs to promote library card sign upand community outreachAssists with all circulation duties, library cardregistration, patron account services and collection maintenanceProvides assistance with the use of photocopymachines, payment kiosks, self-check machines and computersWorks with a variety of software and libraryautomation programsCommunicates ideas and concerns to the supervisorContributes to departmental meetings and departmentalworkflow by making suggestions and sharing ideasRegularly checks email, Intranet and library websitefor new informationRemains aware of security and safety concerns takingappropriate action as neededEvaluates returned materials for damage, missingpieces and overall conditionPerforms basic readers’ advisory and informationassistance, material retrieval and places hold requestsResponsible for special department projects asassignedKNOWLEDGE & SKILLS :
