Description : Responsibilities :

  • Pull manufactured parts / components from the laser machine and use a hand grinder to remove excess metal / material
  • Operate steel loading crane or forklift to safely move material as necessary to the laser work cell
  • Perform well in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency to meet scheduled daily goals
  • Scrape dross, grind or sand parts as required
  • Stage finished parts to be sent to the next station
  • Take skeletons to the dumpster

Requirements :

  • Ability to lift, carry, push and / or pull 1-50 lbs. frequently
  • Capability to squat / kneel, bend / stoop, crawl, twist / turn, grasp and reach overhead and outward frequently
  • Ability to sit, stand and walk for 1-10 hours per day

    • Requirements :

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    High school graduate or equivalent training or work experience.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

    Repeated bending and lifting is required.

    Knowledge of arithmetic.

    ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Conform to all Wayne Metals, LLC environmental policies, programs and procedures.
  • Conform to all State of Indiana laws and regulations.
  • Report any environmental concerns to supervisor, Environmental Management Representative, or the Director of Manufacturing.
