Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field; PE required.
  • Minimum 5 years of land development experience, including site layouts, planning, platting, and site grading using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, PDF editing tools, and Civil 3D design.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently or in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of local zoning ordinances, subdivision regulations, and permitting processes.
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to professional growth.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    • Duties and Responsibilities

    Assist With :

  • Monitoring project progress, resolving discrepancies, and recommending solutions.
  • Inspecting project sites for conformance with plans and safety standards.
  • Preparing / revising project schedules and coordinating tasks with Project Managers.
  • Conducting studies, reviewing engineering documents, and checking plans, details, and specifications.

    • Responsible For :

  • Site research, due diligence reports, and field visits.
  • Leading small teams under Project Manager supervision.
  • Planning, design, permitting, and construction administration for civil / land development projects (residential, commercial, industrial).
  • Applying zoning regulations and design criteria to solve project challenges.
  • Designing within AutoCAD Civil 3D, preparing technical calculations, drawings, and cost estimates.
  • Serving as client / agency / contractor point-of-contact.
  • Training and mentoring junior staff.
  • Reviewing and preparing permit applications.
  • Performing construction observation and field engineering services.
  • Responsibilities may vary based on experience and position.
