About Our Client

Our client is a top ranked, East Coast headquartered, commercial construction general contractor that is continuing to expand their base building portfolio in light industrial construction. This firm has recently opened an office in Savannah, GA and has about 10 people on staff in the area in 2025 - overall the company has 170 employees between their two offices. The firm has plenty of local work in that area to help individuals grow their careers long term and to keep their Supers local with all work within a 60 mile radius. They are well known for their reputation in the market, strong work culture, and award-winning focus on safety.

Job Description

Primary site leader of all subordinate superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers. Establish project plan, maintain weekly progress and pulse of project. Manage and coordinate all job site operations. Manage labor and subcontractors to ensure work quality and on-time delivery of services. Maintain positive relationship with Owners, Design Consultants, and PM's. Coordinate with local jurisdiction inspectors and utility company representatives to ensure compliance. Strictly enforce Safety Program and manage the Quality Control Program. Prepare and maintain detailed short-term schedules. Manage accurate invoice payment process and financial management of the project costs. Resolve day to day field issues. Prepare daily reports with all manpower and significant activities.

The Successful Applicant

3+ years of experience working in the construction industry as superintendent running their own jobs. The ideal candidate will have several ground up commercial projects under their belt. Knowledge in Construction Management or related field, preferred.
