Job Summary :
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct original research in statistical methods for analysis of survival data, and longitudinal data with missing outcomes
Collaborate as a team member on health services research projects within a Data Coordinating Center (DCC)
Develop and adhere to an individual learning plan
Write manuscripts and deliver presentations at national conferences
Contribute to grant applications with input from the DCC faculty

Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications :
PhD in biostatistics, statistics, or related field
Experience using R and / or Python to carry out data analysis
Demonstrated track record of research experience and publications
Preferred Qualifications :
Expertise in longitudinal data analysis
Expertise in time-to-event analysis
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently on data analysis and research
Ability to work well with a diverse team
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Knowledge of quantitative analytic methods in biostatistics or statistics
Versatility and the ability to operate effectively and efficiently according to the needs and demands of concurrent projects and deadlines
Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills, and ability to maintain diplomacy with all collaborating partners
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills; ability to independently analyze and resolve complex problems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Post-Doctoral Research Fellow - 37325 Faculty
The Department of Biostatistics and Informatics (BIOS) of the Colorado School of Public Health (CSPH) has an opening for a full-time postdoctoral research fellow position. The successful candidate will work with Drs. Kathryn Colborn and Elizabeth Juarez-Colunga on projects funded by the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) to develop statistical methods for serious illness and palliative care studies, including analysis of longitudinal data with missing, correlated, and truncated outcomes. Pursuit of independent research aligned with project goals is encouraged. The role is jointly with other faculty, students, and physicians within a Data Coordinating Center. This is a two-year position and onsite in Denver, CO.
The Colorado School of Public Health is a collaborative endeavor involving CU Anschutz, CSU, and UNC. It provides education programs and conducts innovative research.
