Description This position is ideal for an experienced adult learning professional to join the North America Sales Training team as a Learning Experience Developer. Partnering with the team, field stakeholders, experts, commercial operations, professional marketing and clinical education, you'll provide dynamic, engaging and relevant training content to drive business results while facilitating a learning culture. This role is critical to our team goals to reach our sales professionals where they are, at the right time, with the right resources for success.
Role expectations
Create engaging digital learning solutions and live training materials by applying adult learning science, UX design, and instructional design principles. Convert instructional design blueprints and storyboards into visually appealing, functional learning experiences that integrate assessments and meaningful multimedia elements. Develop appropriate multimedia assets using available tools, including AI-based. Own the Quality Assurance process to ensure defect and waste free training assets. Own the curation process to maintain relevance and accuracy of training content.
What We're Looking For
- Education : Minimum of bachelor's degree in instructional design, multimedia design, or equivalent plus evidence of continued education through trade certifications.
- Experience : Minimum of 4 years of experience with at least 2 years developing adult learning content (portfolio required); Direct sales training experience preferred.
- Skills : Proficiency in authoring tools (Articulate Suite, etc.) and multimedia software (Adobe Creative Suite, video and audio editing, etc.); Experience in AI content creation tools, including Synthesia, etc., and other emerging AI tools in the L&D space; Application of SCORM / xAPI standards and LMS integration.
- Communication : Demonstrated skills at all stakeholder levels and proven ability to influence without authority; Strong sense of ownership, holding self and others accountable to meet expectations.
- Teamwork : Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadline-driven projects in a fast-paced, inclusive team environment.

If provided, base salary or wage rate ranges are the range in which Align reasonably expects to set a candidate's pay for the posted position. Actual placement depends on the individual skills and experience level of a candidate plus the total compensation and equity across team members. For other locations outside of the primary location, the base salary range will be adjusted geographically. For Field Sales roles, the salary listed is the base pay only and does not include the applicable incentive compensation plan. A cost of living adjustment may be added to base pay for higher cost areas in the U.S. Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
