Locums - Neurosurgery - Billings, Montana (IMLC Accepted) Facility : Comprehensive Stroke Center - Trauma Level I & IIIPractice Setting : Inpatient / Hospital-based Availability & Schedule Coverage Dates : December 23-28, 2025 Future Need : Ongoing into 2026 Shift Hours : 24-hour call, 6 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 AM Response Time : 20 minutes required Clinical Details Average Census : 5-8 patients per shift Call Volume : 2-4 phone consults 5-8 admissions 15% call back rate Coverage Type : Comprehensive stroke center only (no general neurosurgery) Procedures & Cases : Cerebral Mechanical Thrombectomy Carotid Stenting Hemorrhagic Stroke Vasospasm Other endovascular needs Support Staff : APP support biplane procedural suite Patient Demographics : Assigned & unassigned patients Hospital Certification : Stroke Certified EMR System : Cerner Licensing & Credentialing Requirements Fellowship Training : Required in one of the following : Neuro Interventional Radiology Neuro Endovascular Surgery Neuro Interventional Procedures Board Certification : BC / BE Required License : Active Montana license required (IMLC accepted) Certifications : ACLS, BLS - Required Pay Rate Competitive locum tenens compensation Exact rate negotiable - please inquire for current details Referral Bonus Know someone who may be a fit for this role?
