Introduction Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their established team. The practice provides care for dogs and cats and has been serving the community for over 30 years. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced DVM in a supportive and collaborative environment while handling a varied caseload that includes both general practice and urgent care cases. Working Hours / Rota The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8 : 00 am to 6 : 00 pm, with alternating shorter days on Thursdays and Fridays closing at 3 : 00 pm. The hospital is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. This position offers flexibility and a strong focus on work-life balance. Role Description and Responsibilities The Associate Veterinarian will manage a diverse caseload covering wellness and preventative care, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, urgent care, and senior pet care. The role includes hands-on surgical work beyond routine procedures, as well as opportunities to practice high-quality medicine in collaboration with the current DVM and skilled support staff. The position is open to experienced veterinarians with a passion for surgery and a team-oriented mindset. Practice Details The hospital is equipped with full-body and dental x-ray systems, an Integra ultrasound, Idexx in-house laboratory equipment, a new dental unit, and a surgical laser. Facilities include paperless records through a cloud-based system and a modern setup designed to support both general practice and urgent care. The practice is committed to progressive medicine and community-focused care, with services including wellness and vaccinations, dental care, diagnostics, surgery, emergency and urgent care, end-of-life care, puppy and kitten care, and senior pet care. Team The team includes two DVMs supported by experienced and long-tenured staff, many of whom have been with the hospital for over a decade.
