Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ambulatory Med / Surg position at an internal medicine and family medicine clinic in Massachusetts, requiring MA licensure and Epic EMR experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in an ambulatory clinic setting focused on internal medicine and family medicine
  • Provides care for primary care and pediatric patient populations
  • Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 9 : 30am–6 : 00pm, 8-hour shifts
  • No on-call required
  • Utilizes Epic EMR for patient documentation and communication
  • Responsibilities include medication administration, patient education, nurse-only visits, and vaccine administration
  • Perform telephone triage, return calls for results, and follow up on patient inquiries via phone and Epic portal
  • No specific scrub color required; blue scrubs are recommended
  • No more than 7 days of requested time off is permitted during the assignment
  • Returning permanent staff are not eligible to return as travelers at any time
  • Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted

  • Active MA RN license or MA Temporary License required and must remain current through the assignment
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an ambulatory setting
  • At least 2 years of experience in inpatient or acute care settings
  • At least 6 months of telephone triage experience
  • Experience using Epic EMR required
  • Required certifications must not expire within 30 days of assignment start date
