Northrop Grummans Weapons Systems sector is looking for a Manager, Programs Level III to support the Armament Systems / Ammunition organization / business unit located in Plymouth, MN.
Armament Systems specializes in the development and production of Ammunition, Guns and Precision Guidance Ordinance.
The primary objective will be the delivery of all contractual requirements on cost and on schedule, while achieving all technical requirements and creating customer intimacy to support value creation strategies and actions to enable business growth. The individual will lead a group of program managers and their cross-functional organization aligned to common program performance goals.
Provides overall leadership of the International Co-Production portfolio, which encompasses established contracts in Saudi Arabia and Ukraine and multiple pursuits throughout all regions of the world. Responsible for profitable and on-time execution of existing contracts and capture of critical pursuits to further growth within the Co-Production portfolio. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms / conditions of contract. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and execute to meet financial objectives. Directs the work of employees assigned to the programs from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.
Program Managers are responsible for leading all phases of the program life cycle from inception (proposal development) through startup, execution, and completion (contract closeout). Primary Level Salary Range : $178,500.00 - $267,700.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
