Position Overview
The HR / Office Admin Intern will play a hands-on role in supporting both Human Resources and general office operations. This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to multiple facets of HRincluding recruiting, culture building, and employee engagementwhile ensuring the office runs smoothly day to day.
This internship is ideal for someone eager to learn, highly organized, and enthusiastic about creating a great employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the HR team with recruiting activities including sourcing, interview scheduling, and candidate communications.
- Help maintain consistent and positive communication between leadership and employees.
- Support new hire onboarding and orientation logistics to ensure a best-in-class employee experience.
- Partner with HR to support culture initiatives, employee engagement events, and recognition programs.
- Maintain and organize HR files, office supplies, and administrative records.
- Support daily office operationsmeeting room prep, break room upkeep, supply inventory, and other facility needs.
- Assist with basic employee relations documentation and HR data entry.
- Provide general administrative support to the Fort Worth leadership and HR team.
Qualifications
Current student (undergraduate or graduate level) with availability of 20-40 hours per week.ITS will work with your school schedule but prefer schedules that can be in the office earlier in the day (e.g., 3 days a week from 7am - 1pm).Strong interest in logistics, supply chain management, or customer service.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.Proficiency with technology and the ability to learn new systems quickly.Positive attitude and high energy with a desire to contribute to a team.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks.Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.Skills & Attributes
