Art Director (Social Media) - Contract Job at Dept Agency in Myrtle Point

DEPT is looking for a freelancer Art Director to support an enterprise tech client. The project is slated to start ASAP and run through December 31, 2025, with a possibility to extend, and potentially convert. Hours will be 40 hours weekly throughout the engagement. The Sr. AD Freelancer would be responsible for across a handful of projects at varying stages of production. There is a chance the role may be open for a permanent hire long-term.

Responsibilities Creating original concepts with clear, concise art direction and design that is both visually interesting, on brand, and focused on performance marketing

Designing in a range of visual styles as appropriate for our clients and mediums and integrating design requirements and best practices into all phases of production

Assisting the Creative Director and Associate Creative Directors

Maintaining responsibility for each project through final execution, including QA and reviewing and signing off on all revisions and production phases

Collaborating with Project Managers and Producers on resourcing, budgets, and timelines

The Art Director will need to have Motion Knowledge / Skills, Deep Video Production Experience, Social Mindset, Conceptual Pitch Skills, and Great Brand / Design Chops.

What we offer The anticipated compensation range for this position is $70-$85 hourly.

The anticipated salary range for this position is listed below. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, physical location, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling. Keep in mind, we’re flexible.
