job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate environment. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to assist in maintaining a secure environment for all occupants and guests. Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols. Collaborate with property management and other personnel as needed to address security-related concerns and / or emergencies. Remain visible and approachable to provide assistance and information to tenants, visitors, and staff as needed. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Job Description
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Southfield, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible throughout the property to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence and proactive approach will contribute to a welcoming environment, while your exceptional customer service and communication skills will make a positive impact on everyone you encounter. What You'll Do :
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
