Insight Global is hiring for a second shift CNC Machinist for our client in Chesapeake, VA. This candidate must have at least 3 years of experience operating vertical and horizontal lathes using steel and aluminum material, loading programs into the machine control panel, be able to read and interpret blueprints, and perform minor machine maintenance as needed. The hours for this position are 4 pm EST to 2 : 30 am EST, Monday through Thursday, with optional OT on Fridays and Saturdays.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

2-4 years of horizontal or vertical lathe experience.

Former apprenticeship experience is considered.

Experience working with carbon steel and aluminum materials.

Experienced with using the Mastercam programming software.

Ability to make edits to programs without programmer assistance.

Compensation : $25hr to $32 / hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
