Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced NICU Registered Nurse to join our team on a per diem basis at our Level 3 Trauma Center. This role requires a strong background in neonatal intensive care and the ability to work night shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to neonates in the NICU.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as necessary.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to formulate and update care plans.
  • Document patient information and communicate effectively with families.
  • Be willing to float to the nursery or any unit within similar scope of practice.

    • Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • 3 years of NICU experience required.
  • Current NJ / Compact RN license at the time of submission.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.
  • Must work at least one shift every 3 months to remain active.
