Job Summary : This is a supervisory position designed to support and influence operations effectiveness and the smooth process and materials flow through the DC. This is a fluid leadership position capable of and responsible for effectively managing the operations and direct reports through any department or area of assignment. Responsible for leadership coverage during training, PTO or business needs for any assigned area or department within the operations. Maintains constant communication and visibility with other operation supervisors, employees, management and other departments as needed.

Essential Responsibilities :

• Ensure accuracy and department goals are met daily.
• Maintain and enforce operational, personnel, health and safety policies and procedures in place.
• Conducts daily and weekly meetings with assigned area or department to review issues and requirements.
• Maintains constant communication in-person, by email and / or phone with warehouse employees, DC manager, human resources, other company departments, customers, suppliers, and transportation companies.
• Ensure team members understand their duties and responsibilities and ensure that employees perform their job as requested and in a timely manner.
• Strives for continuous improvement in systems, processes and procedures to industry best practices.
• Enforces the OSHA / DOT safety regulations for business.
• Assists any other departments and performs any other duties as requested.
• Be a value added to the operations team and contribute through cross department resource allocations to achieve common companywide goals.
• Drive adherence to strict operational guidelines for facility and equipment maintenance and organization.
• Collaborates with DC Operations leadership to effectively guide the day-to-day tactics to achieve benchmarks
