Shift Details :

~ Varied 12-hour shifts (3 PM – 3 AM and 3 AM – 3 PM) – Negotiable

~36-hour guarantee

~ Weekend Requirements : Every 3rd weekend

~ On Call : None

Position Summary :

The OB / GYN RN provides patient-centered care within the Health System’s mission, vision, and policies. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care using age-specific criteria and clinical judgment. The RN also supports and teaches non-RN staff, including LPNs, PCTs, and Unit Secretaries, while maintaining flexibility with shift assignments.

Key Responsibilities :

Deliver high-quality OB / GYN patient care following nursing best practices.

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Function as first assist and scrub OB cases if qualified.

Direct and teach support staff as needed.

Maintain accurate documentation and comply with safety and quality standards.

~2+ years OB experience –

~ At least 1 prior travel assignment –

~ BLS (AHA) –

~ ACLS (AHA) or equivalent –

~ NRP –

~ STABLE Certification –

~ Fetal Monitoring Certification –

Required

~ Will consider candidates for varied shifts; DAYS or NIGHTS only also acceptable

~ First assist and OB scrub experience –

Highly Preferred
