Registered Nurse License in good standing with the New Mexico State Board of Nursing\n\n2.Current CPR\n\n3. Minimum 2 years experience in Med / Surg Outpatient Nursing\n\n4. Hospital Pre-employment Background Check renewed within the year\n\n5. Professional Liability Insurance MANDATORY\n\nSKILLS & ABILITY : \n1. High level of proficiency with Microsoft office applications, clinic software applications.\n\n2. Ability to think critically and multitask in a high-pressure situation.\n\n3. Ability to organize and manage an office setting and work with all.\n\n4. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member; establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with members of the interdisciplinary team, and exercise judgment by participating in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care according to standards.\n\n5. Behavior consistent with the Clinic's Standards of Performance.\n\nBASIC RESPONSIBILITIES : \n1. Performs according to the Standards of Professional Practice set out by the New Mexico Board of Nursing and in compliance with the policies, procedures and standards of the facility\n\n2. Accepts clinical responsibility and professional accountability for the care delivered to assigned patients.\n\n3. Participates as a member of the interdisciplinary health care team, fulfilling responsibilities as a member of the nursing discipline.\n\n4. Complies with The Ethical Framework for Nurses\n\nSPECIFIC DUTIES : \n1. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical histories, vital signs, and current health status.\n\n2. Identify and document any changes in patient conditions.\n\n3. Develop individualized care plans based on patient assessments and physical needs.\n\n4. Collaborate with healthcare team members to adjust care plans as necessary.\n\n5. Educate patients and families about the surgical procedure, expected outcomes, and recovery processes.\n\n6. Provide information on preoperative instructions, including medication management and dietary restrictions.\n\n7. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.\n\n8. Assist in scheduling follow-up appointments and necessary tests.\n\n9. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.\n\nCONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT : \nMust comply with : \n1.
