Carpenter / Finish Carpenter
The Carpenter is primarily responsible for completing residential and commercial repair jobs that are assigned by the Project Managers of the reconstruction department. This role must complete all repairs within the time frame of the job and within industry standards.

Responsibilities :
Reports to Reconstruction Project ManagerWork safely in residential and commercial properties that have been damaged by fire, water, storm, and / or moldComplete assigned repair jobs for residential and commercial properties using a punch listComplete work orders as given by reconstruction departmentCommunicate job progress with Estimators, Project Directors, Production Manager and / or CoordinatorsDemolition of structural damage to properties through the use of hand and power toolsComplete measurements and calculate size and amount of material needed on assigned jobsInspect damaged frameworkConstruct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframesComplete drywall projectsComplete painting projectsComplete flooring projects such as tile, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, etc.Complete trim projects (baseboard, casing, crown, etc)Complete light plumbing and electrical projectsInstall kitchen and bath cabinetsComplete kitchen and bath remodelsClean up assigned job sites; may be doing a days' worth of work on different job sitesMay be traveling to more than one job site per dayKeep equipment clean and organized in the shop and in the vehicleResponsible for unloading trash and materials in assigned areasCheck work throughout the project to ensure it is up to code and specificationsComplete assigned jobs within budget and on timeComplete jobs with mitigation department as requestedOther duties as assignedCompetency Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

High School Diploma or GED requiredValid driver's license with a clean recordDesire to join a world-class team and contribute a positive attitudeDedication to customer serviceFluent in EnglishExperience with hanging, patching, finishing, & texturing drywall, and painting is a must5 plus years' experience in the construction / repair industry as a Tradesman / CarpenterPreferred Education and Experience :
7 plus years' experience in finish carpentry workPhysical Requirement :

Compensation : $23.00 - $28.00 per hour (based on experience)
