Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,302 per week

Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Storm Lake, Iowa. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : OR - Operating Room Discipline : RN Start Date : 12 / 08 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 32 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type : Travel Start : 12 / 08 / 25 Working Christmas Day is required for this contract. No RTO allowed from 12 / 25-12 / 28. Shift : 4x8’s Typically 6 : 30a-3p every Tuesday and Friday and then 2 other shifts during the week depending on OR schedule, plus rotating night and weekend call. Average 1overnight shift per week and every 4th weekend. (typically, starting end of day Friday until 6 : 30am Monday). Thanksgiving would be required if contract goes through Nov. 28th. Guaranteed hours per week : 32 Must have experience or skill set : OR (extubations, pediatrics). PACU preferred. Common diagnosis / Types of Patients : T&A, BMT, ortho (joint replacements, arthroscopies, ORIF), general (laparoscopic and open procedures), OB / GYN (C-sections, lap and vaginal hysterectomies), urology. Average number of cases per day : 5-15 (Tuesdays and Fridays are our highest volume days). Ratios : 1-2 RN per OR with a ratio of 1 : 1 in PACU. Certs : BLS required, ACLS and PALS preferred.
