Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with a current OH or compact license, BLS, and NIHSS certification for a day-shift position.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Operating Room (OR), specifically in the Cardiovascular OR (CVOR)
  • Hospital setting caring for surgical patients
  • Day shift, 7am - 3 : 30pm, five days per week
  • Utilizes Epic EMR and Pyxis medication system
  • 13-week assignment
  • Provide direct perioperative nursing care in the OR setting
  • Work collaboratively with the surgical team, physicians, and patient families to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Works under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing
  • Handles confidential patient information and makes independent care decisions

  • Active OH or compact RN license required
  • Minimum of 1 year of OR nursing experience required
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
  • Must reside outside a 60 mile radius of the facility
