Fund Administration Interns

Our Minneapolis, MN location is seeking Fund Administration Interns.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Complete account reconciliations, such as bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other accounts for real estate, private equity, and venture capital funds.
  • Prepare financial statements and required work papers to support the financial statements.
  • Process transactions which may include accounts payable / cash disbursements processing, accounts receivable / cash receipts processing, and payroll processing / coordination.
  • Prepare and monitor capital calls and distribution notices to limited partners.
  • Prepare limited partner capital / investor statements.
  • Prepare management fee calculations as well as expense allocations between funds.
  • Identifies client issues concerning generally accepted accounting principles (FASB / SFAS), specifically related to investment companies.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of accounting software packages.
  • Focuses efforts on managing work and key client relationships to exceed client expectations.
  • Expand industry knowledge through greater exposure to peers, clients, regular self-study, and formal training opportunities.

Minimum Requirements :

  • Working towards the achievement of a bachelor's degree Degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred.
  • General knowledge of accounting principles and reporting of financial data.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.
  • The wage range for this position is : $21 $26. Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range.
