Reports to : Field Service Manager

Cooperates with : All Departments

Compensation : Total compensation includes a base hourly rate starting at $27 / hr+ (depending on experience), overtime, and annual bonus.

Primary Responsibility : This position is responsible for supporting customers with on-site service, technical support, and on-site training. The primary functions of this position are commissioning new equipment; preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of existing equipment; and telephone customer support. The Field Service Technician also prepares reports documenting the work performed and the performance of the equipment. The Field Service Technician typically works in a non-smoking environment. This position requires travel for a majority of the time (75%).

Specific Duties And Responsibilities

• Commissioning the total system scope supplied by MIRATECH on new installations
• Perform routine maintenance and service on existing products
• Provide telephone support to customers including troubleshooting, replacement parts identification
• Site coordination and project meetings
• Post-commissioning customer training on operations and maintenance
• Daily reports to customers and internal staff while in the field
• Follow up customer calls after service work completion
• Keep up-to-date on company products and services
• Plan own work schedule efficiently
• Maintain test equipment and special tools calibration
