You will join an agile scrum team and play a hands-on role in designing, developing, and testing software applications within one of the FIFT product areas. Your responsibilities include delivering time-to-market solutions, enabling business partners to leverage technology in an exploratory, highly iterative environment, and helping our investment teams adapt their processes to meet both short-term needs and long-term trends using technology. You will lead the design and implementation of software solutions that meet both functional and non-functional requirements, working on small development teams and providing in-depth technical design leadership. This position will be based in Merrimack, NH or Smithfield, RI.

• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and business analysts to understand business and technical requirements.
• Design and develop user interfaces (Angular), Java microservices, AKKA / Kafka messaging middle-tier services, and build / deployment pipelines.
• Engage in product quality efforts, including test case development, design and code reviews, and regression testing.
• Contribute to engineering practices and lead strategies for source control, code quality, performance, environment, DevOps, and CI / CD.
• Manage production releases and deployments; participate in on-call rotation for Level 3 support.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and contribute effectively in an agile environment.
• Seeking an experienced developer with expertise in UI, Java server-side, and SQL (Oracle), with a strong interest in financial services applications.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, and over 10 years of software development experience. Required skills include Java (microservices, Spring / SpringBoot, REST APIs), Angular, HTML, CSS / SCSS, JavaScript, Kafka, CI / CD tools (Jenkins, Maven), and SQL / PLSQL. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Docker, and serverless architectures is a plus. Strong communication skills are essential.
