Staff Management Group is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for our client in Somerset, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule

  • 1st shift : 6AM - 6 : 45PM
  • Monday - Friday
  • Plus overtime

Pay Rate

  • $27 / hour

    • Job Summary

    Were hiring an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including overseeing forklift operators, managing inventory flow, and ensuring timely order fulfillment. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong logistics knowledge and a proven ability to enforce safety and performance standards.

    Job Responsibilities :

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of warehouse staff and forklift drivers
  • Ensure accurate and timely loading, unloading, and movement of goods using forklifts and other material handling equipment
  • Monitor inventory levels, participate in cycle counts, and reconcile stock discrepancies
  • Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular inspections of forklifts and equipment
  • Train and onboard new team members in warehouse procedures and safety standards
  • Collaborate with logistics, shipping, and receiving departments to streamline warehouse operations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant warehouse environment
  • Troubleshoot issues and escalate operational challenges to warehouse management
  • Track productivity and report key performance metrics
  • Promote a positive, team-oriented work culture

    • Job Requirements

  • MUST be bilingual - English AND Spanish
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a warehouse supervisory role
  • Proven leadership and team management skills in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Working knowledge of inventory systems, forklift operations, and safety compliance
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
