About The Position

Job Title : Respiratory Therapist

Profession : Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Shift : Night 3x12 Hour

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum of 2 years required

License : State license required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, CRT, RRT

Must-Have :

RRT certification preferred.

Previous travel experience preferred.

Epic charting experience required.

Description :

Staff will work on the respiratory therapy team.

The schedule includes three 12-hour night shifts per week.

Weekdays and some weekends will be required.

The patient ratio is 1 : 4.

Experience with GE ventilators is preferred.

Candidate must have experience in adult critical care.

Experience with various aerosol setups, including CPAP and BiPAP, is needed.

Ability to perform arterial blood gas interpretation is required.

Candidate must be skilled in tracheostomy care and management.

Expectation to wean patients from mechanical ventilation.

Must be familiar with troubleshooting high pressure alarms.

Candidate will provide pulmonary hygiene and perform sputum specimen collection.

Daily responsibilities will include extensive patient interaction and care.

Candidates must have a strong understanding of various respiratory medications.

Previous charge experience is a plus.

Strong references from supervisors or formal leadership roles are required.

Travelers may be required to float and must comply with credentialing requirements.
