How You Will Make a Difference

As a Patient Care Technician (PCT) at US Renal Care, you will play a vital role in transforming the lives of patients with renal failure. Join our dedicated team and be part of providing essential care under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) and Charge Nurses (CNs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Care : Engage directly with patients to deliver safe and effective dialysis treatments. Your responsibilities will include monitoring patient vitals before and after treatments, initiating and terminating treatment sessions, and collecting blood samples as per physician orders.
  • Technical Duties : Uphold quality by preparing dialysis machines, ensuring thorough cleaning and disinfection, and conducting safety checks to maintain compliance with regulations.
  • Safety and Compliance : Implement safety protocols diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment. Collaborate with your Charge Nurse to adhere to all company and regulatory standards through active participation in staff meetings and ongoing education.

Qualifications Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A strong desire to support patients in a healthcare setting.
  • Previous experience in healthcare, particularly in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is advantageous.
  • Comfortable with mixing acids and bicarbonate per established protocols.
  • Able to distinguish all primary colors.

  • Additional Requirements

  • Successful completion of our training program, including competency demonstrated within 8 weeks of hire.
  • CPR certification required within 90 days of hire, per state regulations.
  • Patient Care Technician certification necessary within 18 months of hire, continually maintained in good standing.
