About Us :

At Mount Sterling Pediatric Dentistry, our mission is to provide exceptional dental care to children, teens, and kids with special health-care needs. We treat every child with the utmost care and compassion, ensuring they have a positive and comfortable experience.

Position Details :

• Role : Part-Time Expanded Duties Dental Assistant
• Hours : 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Thursday
• Pay : $15 to $18 per hour, based on experience

A Day In the Life Of

As our EDDA, your role involves a variety of tasks and is essential in creating a positive experience for our patients and supporting the dental team.

Welcoming Patients :

Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the dental office.

Patient Preparation :

Prepare patients for treatments or checkups.

Instrument and Equipment Setup :

Select and set up the necessary instruments, equipment, and materials needed for dental procedures.

Chair-Side Assistance :

Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments, suctioning, and providing support.

Coronal Polishing :

Perform coronal polishing procedures to remove stains and plaque from patients teeth.

Oral Hygiene Instructions :

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices.

Post-Operative Care :

After treatments, give patients instructions for post-operative care.
